We believe in the preventive wellness properties of our ginger tonic and want to share it with you!
Hello! My name is Sarah Kimfila. I am a mother of 5 beautiful children Erick 7, Eli 5, Maisha 3, Bella 2 and Beau 1. I love them with all my heart. They’re the best thing that has ever happened to me! I do my very best to be the best mother I can be for them. I work hard every day to provide for my children. God is always on my side helping me to raise them so they can be responsible, kind, respectful human beings.
I’m originally from Rwanda and Congo. My family and I move to the USA back in August 16, 2000 due to war. We came as refugees with no words of English. At the beginning it was really hard because kids used to make fun of me us for not speaking English. I used to carry a sign that said “No Speak English” so the kids wouldn’t pick on me. It motivated me to learn English and after a year and half I was transfer to “regular” classes. English as second language is where I also learned Spanish. Once I was in “regular” classes I pushed myself so hard that I learned to speak English very well and I was an excellent student! I made A/B honor roll until I graduated.
Back home when someone is sick with cough, flu or nausea, my mom and dad always gave us a shot of ginger, lemon and honey. It was something I was used to drinking because it was good for our health, and it kept us from being sick.
Fast forward in 2020 when COVID started, my whole family started drinking ginger tonic and it did help us all. My dad was my biggest teacher. He sat me down and showed me step by step on how to perfect the ginger drink. Two weeks after I gave birth to my daughter Bella, I caught COVID, but thank goodness my parents were able to make me the delicious ginger tonic! It did help me a lot. I recovered within 2 days. I was drinking the ginger tonic when it was very warm, it boosted my immune system right away!
From that day on, I knew we had something very special, and I wanted to share it with everyone that I knew. Everyone that tried my ginger tonic loved it! It’s all natural consisting of only 3 ingredients; ginger, lemon, and honey.
Over time I started testing different glass bottles. It comes in a glass bottle because glass is good for you. My glass bottles are boiled for purity, so they come to you clean.! Glass has no chemicals like plastic. My father always says quality over quantity.
I love making ginger. It makes me so happy making it. From washing ginger, cutting it, mixing, and putting it in a bottle all handmade. It puts a smile on my face when I send it to my grandma who has diabetes. It helps her to reduce pain. She’s 92 years old. When I see the smiles on my friends and family faces after tasting my pure ginger tonic, it motivates me to keep going and growing!
